Hey everyone! Just rolled out a quick update that brings a couple of highly requested features, some quick balance changes, and contract bug fixes.
Sponsored Supply Drops
You can now opt-in to view Sponsored Supply Drops (yes, ads, but fully customized in-universe!). Every few minutes while playing, you might get a prompt for a supply drop. Watching the quick ad rewards you with either a chunk of Gold (scaled to your level), premium Cores, or a random Booster Card.
I had a ton of fun writing the fake ad creatives for these: from Eau de Oxygen (notes of pine, citrus, and not dying) to MARSR dating (where "red flags are just dust"). If you've got a minute, check them out—it helps support the game's servers!
Daily Leaderboard History
Up until now, the Contract Daily Leaderboard only showed the active day's progress. As soon as the day rolled over, your final rank was lost to history. With this patch, you can now toggle to see yesterday's final leaderboard standings. Go check out how you placed!
Balancing & Fixes
A few quick changes to keep the economy smooth:
- Carbon Rock: Increased its sell value from 2 to 4. Smelting carbon blocks and building early grids should feel a bit faster now.
- Contract UI Fixes: Fixed an annoying UI bug where resource delivery counts in the contract list wouldn't update dynamically after completing a shipment.
